Scottish Egg

Directions

Preparation:

Prepare soft boiled eggs. Before boiling, let the eggs come to room temperature "30 minutes"

After water is brought to a boil, add the room temperature eggs. Cook the eggs with a cover on the pot for 6 minutes "7 minutes if your eggs are cold from the fridge"

 Mix ground turkey, 1 cup of bread crumbs, 1 egg, black pepper, parsley, rosemary, thyme and scallions in a bowl

Form ground turkey mixture into patties

Wrap the soft boiled egg in the patty

Coat the egg with flour 

Mix 2 eggs and 2 tbsp of water

Coat the eggs in the mixture

Dredge the eggs with bread crumbs

Cooking:

Heat oil to 325-350 degrees F 

Cook eggs for 4-6 minutes. Be sure to move the egg every minute to cook evenly
