Directions

Coat a heated pot with 2 tbsp of vegetable oil 

Brown the ground meat in the pot. Be sure to stir occasionally to avoid sticking.

While the meat is browning, prepare the vegetables, onion and garlic. 

Once the meat has browned, remove the meat from the pot, draining the oil. Use 2tbsp of the oil from the meat to prepare the vegetables.

brown the onions till translucent (3-5 mins). Add the jalapeño pepper, red pepper and tomato. While the vegetables cook, season to liking with salt and pepper. Once everything in the pot is browned, add the garlic. 

Cook the garlic till the aromas release (20-30 secs). Once the garlic is cooked, add the beans and tomato paste

Add the meat back to the pot

Add the chili seasoning

Bring pot to a boil, then drop the temperature to a simmer, for 15-20 mins.
